FAQs

A few things you might be wondering.

Clear answers about what Kua does, how it works and the support it is designed to offer.

What is Kua Health?

Kua is an everyday wellness app that brings together personalised meal planning, activity plans, short audio lessons called Bites, weekly goals and selected health tracking.

Who is Kua for?

Kua is designed for adults who want practical support with everyday health goals, whether that means improving food choices, losing weight sensibly, building strength, moving more or developing healthier routines.

Do I need a gym or special equipment?

No. Kua includes home-based movement options, including bodyweight and household-item exercises. The activity plan takes account of the equipment you have available and your selected exercise level.

Can I follow a particular diet or cuisine?

Kua meal planning includes vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, halal and kosher preferences, alongside allergy and dislike settings. You can also choose from a range of cuisines and set a food budget and cooking time.

What if I am older or new to exercise?

Activity options include seated, supported standing and standing sessions, with different levels and adaptations. Your answers about activity, limitations and relevant health considerations help shape the plan. If you are unsure whether exercise is appropriate for you, speak with a qualified healthcare professional.

Can Kua replace advice from my GP?

No. Kua is an everyday wellness app, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent medical conditions and is not a substitute for advice, diagnosis or care from a qualified healthcare professional.

Can I connect my smartwatch?

Kua supports Apple Health on iPhone and Health Connect on Android for selected data. Fitbit and Garmin integrations are not currently available.

What health information can I record?

You can record selected measures including weight, blood pressure, resting heart rate, sleep, blood glucose, HbA1c and cholesterol, and view trends over time. Automatic imports depend on your device and connected health platform.

Does Kua give medical or personalised clinical advice?

No. App suggestions and educational content are intended to support everyday choices. They should not be treated as personal medical advice. Follow the advice of your care team and speak to a qualified professional before changing medication or treatment.

How is my information used?

Please refer to the final Kua Privacy Policy for details about the personal information collected, how it is used, who it is shared with and how to exercise your rights. Finalise this wording only after the app's data flows and policy have been checked.
