About Kua

We wanted to make the next step towards better health feel clearer.

Kua began with a question: if so many people want to live healthier lives, why can it still feel so difficult to know where to start?

Why we started

There is no shortage of advice. There is a shortage of support that fits real life.

We kept hearing a familiar story. People were seeking help, trying to do the right things and genuinely wanting to improve their health — but they were not always sure what to do next. The amount of information available could feel overwhelming. Different messages competed for attention, and even when people knew what might help, turning that knowledge into everyday habits was another challenge.

For Dr Zohra, this was something she recognised through her experience as a GP. Conversations about health often involved good intentions and a desire to make changes, but people could leave without the ongoing practical support that helps those changes become part of daily life.

The idea behind Kua

Bring understanding and action closer together.

We wanted to create something that could help bridge that gap: an everyday health companion that makes useful information easier to understand and healthy choices easier to put into practice. Something that recognises that people have different needs, preferences, cultures, budgets, routines and starting points.

That is why Kua brings together personalised meal planning, adaptable movement, short audio learning and small weekly goals. Rather than asking people to overhaul their lives, it helps them focus on a next step that feels possible today — and build from there.

Our ambition

Everyday support that feels human, practical and accessible.

We want people to feel more informed and more confident in the choices they make for their health. We want support to reflect real lives, not ideal routines. And we want progress to feel encouraging rather than all-or-nothing.

Kua is at the beginning of its journey. We are continuing to learn, test and improve the experience with the people who use it.
